EIZO Releases World’s First Lightweight 2K x 2K Primary Control Monitor with VESA 100 x 100 Compliance and Smart Technologies
Hakusan, Japan, February 16, 2023 – EIZO (TSE: 6737) today announced the Raptor SQ2826 – a lightweight 28.1-inch primary control monitor with 2K x 2K (2048 x 2048) resolution for air traffic control (ATC). It is the successor model to the Raptor SQ2825.
The Raptor SQ2826 is the world’s first 2K x 2K primary control monitor whose weight of just 9.2 kg, approximately 37% lighter than its predecessor, ensures it complies with 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting standards. This means that it can be reliably mounted to VESA supported arms and fixtures without needing an adapter or additional brackets, simplifying installation requirements. It is EIZO’s 6th generation 2K x 2K primary control monitor and boasts the thinnest bezels of the lineup at just 15.5 mm, which is less than half that of the previous model for a sleek and compact design..

EIZO fulfills the Christmas Wishes of Citizens in Need
Eizo Technologies found a very nice and beautiful way of helping the local community. Although we are experiencing a difficult business year for ETG we are convinced that we need to keep that “sharing spirit” – especially with the local community – and even more in times of C19.
The aid organization Caritas has created the Geretsried Wish Tree campaign. Christmas trees are set up in the city area and carry stars, each with a request from a person or family in need. Caritas is helping poor and needy people. Most wishes are not really big and we are sponsoring gloves and scarf, toys and clothes. The Wish Stars all have a value of between 10 and 25 Euros. Geretsried citizens can now buy a star and make the wish come true.
EIZO Technologies as an employer in Geretsried shows itself socially and buys two complete trees with all the stars. With this, wishes worth 1.500 € are fulfilled. The stars are basically vouchers for local shops and as such do have 2 positive effects on people living in the area.
